Director’s Statement

Written in a time of writer’s block, I created The Kids Are Not Alright with no boundaries. I allowed myself to make every stylistic choice and every creative swing that I possibly could. What resulted is an energetic film that embraces the noise. This film is about the chaos of our surroundings and how it can infect all of us.
